Not my first choice. I'm a Dallas fan. However, for the purposes of this NFL Redraft, NYC is a great choice: huge market, new stadium, great fans. As an owner, NYC is very attractive. Not to mention there will be favorable reporting from ESPN since it's on the East coast!
So that's my choice, in a nutshell. This experiment for NFL fans sounds fun, and I'm looking forward to getting started. Good luck to everyone.
The only downside to NY that I can see is that the pressure to perform immediately is huge. If you are not winning, you get fried in the media every day. That is not that bad of a negative when you are also able to rake in the money. In Chicago the fan base is huge, they love their football, and they are much more forgiving.
